- Seattle LGBT Youth Poetry
- We help teens in distress (incarcerated youth, street youth, hospitalized youth, etc.) to write poetry about their lives. The consistent theme of this creative work is early childhood trauma and loss, often in the form of neglect, abuse, abandonment, and family death. We are a non-profit, volunteer program called the Pongo Publishing Teen Writing Project, located in Seattle, Washington. As part of our work, we also print teen poetry chapbooks that are distributed free to distressed youth and also to agencies, institutions, libraries, judges, therapists, etc.
