- Dignity Pittsburgh, a member of Dignity USA, was founded to help gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered Catholics, as well as other interested persons, regardless of past or present religious affiliations, to achieve spiritual maturity through all the means at their disposal, especially the Mass, Liturgical services, sacraments, personal prayer, Bible study and active love as neighbor so that members and friends are better able to integrate their sexuality and faith in a way that is consistent with Christ's teachings.
