Queerwitness: We are a tribe with a great purpose in the world. Queerwitness focuses on queer spirituality, oral history, politics, storytelling and HIV/AIDS, with history being from a first-person perspective, including being present at the Stonewall Riots and subsequent involvement with the Gay Liberation Front followed by the politics of spirituality and the creative arts. It is also the story of one man's spiritual and physical struggles with illness and death from AIDS and a return to new life.
