- Normal Heart Community Ventures is a 19 year old 501(c)(3)non-profit serving the LGBT community of New Mexico and West Texas. The mission of Normal Heart Community Ventures is to inform, empower and unify the GLBT community of New Mexico and surrounding areas and to promote respect and visibility in the community at large.ö The Southwest LGBT Press is the oldest LGBT publication in New Mexico and West Texas. It is the only non-profit LGBT publication. The Press is written by community volunteers for the community we serve.

- New Mexico's Bataan Chapter of the American Veterans for Equal Rights (AVER) provides support and recognition for gay veterans and current service members from all services, Active, Reserve and Guard, their families, friends and anyone who supports them whether or not they are gay.
