Organizers of the group have planned a membership and promotional drive over the next few weeks, and have announced the first event, which will celebrate the Asian community's Mid-Autumn Festival. Asians & Friends - Vancouver will introduce itself by hosting a "Moon Night Romance - Red Lantern Potluck" on Saturday evening, September 25th at a location to be announced soon.
