International Bear Rendezvous is an annual gathering of bears and bear-lovers held in San Francisco. It is hosted by the Bears of San Francisco, who conceived of Rendezvous as a weekend of fun and fund-raising, intended to foster a sense of community among participants while at the same time raising money for agencies serving the gay and HIV communities at the local, state, and national level. (Last confirmed date was 02/12/04 through 02/16/04. Future dates for this event have not been provided.)
